Welcoming Oak Meadows to the Ebenezer Family
We are excited to announce that, as of January 1, 2025, Ebenezer officially owns Oak Meadows Senior Living in Oakdale, Minnesota. Ebenezer has managed operations at Oak Meadows since 2022, and this acquisition further strengthens our shared mission of providing exceptional care, engaging experiences, and fostering a sense of belonging for older adults.
A Rich History of Care
Oak Meadows Senior Living opened its doors in 1998 as a not-for-profit institution affiliated with the United Church of Christ and its Council for Health and Human Service Ministries. Dedicated to serving older adults who need independent living, assisted living or memory care, Oak Meadows embodies dignity, respect, and care for all. Its mission aligns with Ebenezer’s commitment to innovation, inclusivity, and creating an environment where older adults can thrive.
A Smooth Transition
Ensuring continuity of care and services for residents is Ebenezer’s top priority during this transition. Residents can feel confident knowing their routines, cherished relationships, and the team they trust will remain unchanged.
Strength Through Partnership
As a member of the Ebenezer family, Oak Meadows has access to the resources and expertise of Minnesota’s largest senior housing operator. Employees will continue in their roles, supported by Ebenezer.
A Shared Vision for the Future
Located in picturesque Oakdale, Oak Meadows offers a living environment rooted in faith, compassion, and care. Through Ebenezer’s exclusive Cornerstone programs—Lifelong Learning, Dimensions® Dementia Care, Crafted Culinary, Faith Foundations, and Intergenerational Connections—we create a vibrant and supportive community where everyone thrives.
“This acquisition reflects Ebenezer’s ongoing dedication to expanding its mission of high quality, faith-based senior living,” said Brett K. Anderson, Ebenezer CEO/President. Anderson continued, “We're deepening our commitment to enriching the lives of seniors across Minnesota, and we're grateful for the support, advocacy, and partnerships that have made this transition possible. We look forward to many years of providing care, connections, and building a community where residents feel at home.”
